Appointed and expert roles

OAC can call on up to four experienced individuals to perform the following key roles, all of whom have been approved by the FSA for their existing controlled function appointments:

  • Actuarial Function Holder.
  • With-Profits Actuary.
  • Reviewing Actuary.
  • "Independent person" for firms transacting with-profits business.
  • Independent peer review.
  • "Independent Expert" in Part VII Transfers.
  • Appropriate Actuary for small friendly societies.
